This new version of the Sierra is perfect for high-level trail running. They have been designed and engineered for medium to high difficulty terrain, such as rocky, stony, and demanding trails. The outsole is made of durable, high-resistance rubber with lugs of varying patterns to ensure grip in all situations. This technology provides the outsole with greater durability thanks to the high-resistance rubber that slows down abrasion wear, thus extending the shoe's lifespan. The midsole includes dual cushioning to protect the foot from uneven terrain. It also features an innovative system called Bound Reactive, a thermoplastic material that absorbs impact and propels you forward by quickly recovering its shape. The dual-density Phylon system optimizes cushioning; higher density provides greater stability, while lower density offers greater lightness. This technology provides the athlete with flexibility and improved shock absorption. The upper features a breathable and durable jacquard upper with Flexshield TPU inserts to protect the foot. A foam and phylon piece has been incorporated to increase protection, and the fit is enhanced by the 100% elastic tongue and nylon and elastane linings. This upper incorporates a VTS ventilation system that allows air to flow in and out of the shoe, maintaining a constant foot temperature. The rear features an Exo Counter heel counter that provides greater protection and comfort thanks to the ergonomic design of a new last. The outer pieces are made of highly resistant microfiber, and the inner heel counter is made of PVC and foam. Like many trail running shoes, it features a lace pocket located on the tongue to tuck away the laces and prevent them from getting caught on external elements.Material composition:
