In 1981, we established the unmistakable Saucony silhouette and triangular lugs with the Jazz. In its creation, we worked closely with podiatrists to ensure we designed a shoe that guaranteed runner comfort and mitigated the impact of long distances. The triangular lug outsole offered good grip with a piston-like suspension system, which has inspired Saucony sole design to this day.
